Ingredients

  • 300 g green beans
  • 1 ½ tbsp miso paste
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 ½ tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

Prepare the green beans

  • Trim the ends of the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for about 3-4 minutes until they're tender-crisp. Drain and transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking process, then drain again.

Make the dressing

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, maple syrup, fish sauce, and soy sauce until smooth and well combined.

Toss the beans

  • In a large bowl, toss the blanched green beans with the dressing until evenly coated.

Garnish

  • Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds on top for added texture and flavor.
