Beef Mince Katsu (Menchi Katsu) with Tonkatsu Sauce

Ingredients:
Mince Mix
- 500g beef mince
- 3 eggs
- 125g Obento Panko Breadcrumbs
- 50g tomato paste
- 150g tofu
- Salt and pepper, to your liking
- 250g onion, chopped
Coating
- Obento Panko Breadcrumbs, for coating all patties
- 2 eggs
- 50ml milk
- Plain flour, for lightly coating the patties
- Oil, for frying
To Serve
Obento Tonkatsu Sauce, to your liking
Method:
- Mix mince mix ingredients well. Portion into 100g patties. This should make about 12 pieces.
- Lightly coat each patty with flour, then egg & milk mixture, and panko breadcrumbs to finish off.
- Fry in oil preheated to 180°C until cooked through.
- Repeat with the rest of the tofu slices.
- Serve on a plate with the salad of your choice and tonkatsu sauce.
