My Mum's PipisKhanh Ong
- 1 tsp veg oil
- 3 cloves of garlic crushed
- 1.5 kgs pipis
- 2 long red chilis sliced
- 1⁄4 cup of thai basil leaves
- 2 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp caster sugar
To Serve (Garnish):
- thai basil tips
- sliced chili
- In a wok add veg oil and garlic, cook for 30 seconds
- pour in the pipis and give it a quick mix.
- add the rest of the ingredients reserving half the chilis and basil
- cover with a lid and let it steam for 2-4 minutes.
- remove lid and toss the pipis.
- top with remaining chili and garlic
