Cheesy Potato Bake
Joel FerenIngredients:
- ½ cup Glucerna powder
- 1.2kg potato, thinly sliced
- 60g butter
- 1 garlic clove, roughly chopped
- ¼ cup flour
- 2½ cups milk
- 2 cups grated tasty cheese
- 2 spring onions, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180°C and grease square baking dish.
- Add butter and garlic to a medium pot over medium heat. Stir continuously until the butter has completely melted. Add flour and stir for 2 minutes. Slowly add milk until well combined and stir until the sauce comes to the boil.
- Remove from heat and stir through Glucerna powder, seasoning spring onions and half the cheese.
- Arrange half the potatoes over the base of the baking dish. Spoon half the cheesy mixture over the layered potatoes and repeat. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and cover with foil. Bake in oven for a total of 60 minutes and remove foil cover after 30 minutes.
