Chia Chocolate Mousse

  • Plant-based milk
  • Chia seeds
  • Cacao powder
  • Maple syrup
  • Vanilla extract or paste


  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. If you prefer to eat the seeds whole, you can skip the blender and combine the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Transfer the mixture into individual jars or containers.
  3. Chill the pudding in the fridge overnight, or for at least 3 hours, until it has thickened and reached a pudding-like consistency.
  4. Serve the pudding as is, or top with your favourite toppings, such as plant-based yoghurt, shaved dark chocolate, and raspberries.
