- 1 box frozen store bought bao buns
- 4 chicken thigh fillets
- For the batter:
- Eggs
- Flour
- Panko breadcrumbs
- Hoi sin sauce
- Siracha kewpie mayonnaise
- 2 cucumbers, finely julienned
- 2 carrots, finely julienned
- Store bought pickled cucumbers, sliced
- 1/2 bunch coriander
- Cut the thighs in half, and crumb. You can either deep fry these or fry in the air fryer until super golden and crispy.
- Steam the bao buns in a steam basked over a double boiler as per the packets instructions.
- To fill, spoon a tsp of Hoi sin sauce and mayonnaise onto the bun, add the carrot, cucumber and herbs and top with fried chicken.
