Plum & Granola Crumble

  • 1kg ripe plums
  • 50g caster sugar 
  • 1 star anise 
  • 2 cloves 
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 orange, juiced and zested 
  • 300g nut crumble


  1. Over a medium heat place the plums, sugar, orange and spices in a pan with a lid. Cook over a high heat for about 4 minutes. 
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer until the plums are soft to touch but you don’t want them to lose their shape or structure. Discard, your star anise, cloves and cinnamon.
  3. Place in individual serving bowls and top with your granola.
